Perseverance and
Giving Back are two key attributes of being a great student-athlete, and a cornerstone of Lawrence Hsieh's
book on leadership for student-athletes.Do you have news or a story to add about a student-athlete's courage, perseverance, sportmanship or community service? Use the Page Toolbox on the right column to add or edit your story. You can use either the "Sports Story Template" to help you to format the story, or start from scratch with a "Blank" template.Suggestions: - Parents and coaches can inspire a new generation of student-athletes by posting stories of perseverance and compassion from their own playing days.
- It doesn't matter if you or your student-athlete played rec ball or travel ball, was the star on (or was cut from) the high school team, or played any level of college sports (NCAA, Club Sport or Intramural). And the story of perseverance or courage need not relate directly to sports.
