Stephani Victor is an actress, filmmaker, motivational speaker, U.S. Ski Team member and the reigning Paralympic Gold Medalist and World Champion. Her accomplishments on the hill include Overall World Cup Champion Combined, 3-time Overall World Cup Champion/Slalom, Overall World Cup Champion/Giant Slalom, 2002 Paralympic Bronze
Medalist, 8-time US National Champion and 14 career World Cup victories. Shortly after graduating with honors from the University of Southern California’s highly competitive School of Cinema-Television, Victor was the victim of a devastating accident. In an effort to save her life, doctors had to amputate both of her legs. However, Stephani’s will to live was astonishing and she was determined to overcome this catastrophic experience. In fact, while she was in intensive care, the always optimistic actress/film director had a dream one night of making a documentary film about her recovery. Her life’s worst tragedy became the backdrop for her most important film, “The Lengths I Will Go.” While promoting the film at Sundance, Victor had her first ski lesson with Swiss Ski Team member, Marcel Kuonen. Watching Stephani quickly carve her first turns on a mono-ski, Kuonen knew immediately that he had a future star as a student. He became Stephani’s personal coach, and together they prepared for the Paralympic Games. Stephani and Marcel were married in 2005!

Stephani’ s film and ski racing accomplishments have been the subject of many television shows, including ABC’s 20/20, The View, The Life, The Best D___ Sports Show Period and E! News. In addition, Stephani has received numerous awards including Ski Racing Magazine’s Disabled Athlete of the Year, Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd, Competitor Magazine’s Challenge Award for the Athlete of the Year, AFMLA’s Salute to Champions Award and the USSA Chairman’s Special Recognition Award for Olympic/Paralympic Champions. Of special note, General John A. Weida made Stephani an honorary Wing Commander of Hill Air Force Base after her moving presentation to over 3,000 airmen and women that resulted in the longest period of no reported DUI incidents. Whether Stephani is speaking to corporations, inner city schools or racing down the slopes, those around her realize that Stephani Victor
possesses the rarest of gifts: the ability to positively inspire, motivate and lead with both her words and her actions.
